Day 11 of 40 days to Resurrection Day

Today’s suggestion:

Light a candle early in the morning or before the evening meal.

Remember that Christ is the Light of the world and we are to be His lights in the world.

Jesus is the Light.  Let His light shine in you.  Be the light to the world.

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you:

God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

He reveals the deep things of darkness and brings utter darkness into the light.

The people walking in darkness have seen a great light;

on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned.

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear?

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

Jesus spoke again . . .“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness,

but will have the light of life.“

You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
