Rain.
Rain falls this morning. Gentle rain. Refreshing rain after days of oppressive heat when flowers wilt and people just want to stay inside.
I read Jeremiah 31:25.
“I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint.”
I receive the Word with joy and expect to be refreshed.
Today, I count blessings, grace flowing down. I notice them. I count them. I record them. And I give thanks.
This tired body and languishing soul will be satisfied.

It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High . . . Psalm 92:1
The soft rain does calm our soul… slows things down… gives us a time to regroup…
Your back yard… reminds me of mine…deck…trees…bird feeders…
A peaceful place as we wander from flower to flower…
You have great strength through “grace” it seems…Sometimes I wonder… how strong can one be?…but, with God’s help… as strong as necessary!
As strong as necessary indeed. The Father will give what we need to endure.
